Marketingz is a marketing business in Montréal, Québec. This page describes what this website actually does — not what a template says a website might do.

What runs before you agree

Nothing. No analytics, no session recording, no advertising pixel loads until you choose “Allow”. Québec’s Law 25 and the GDPR both require consent before a non-essential tracker runs, and a banner shown while the tracker is already running does not satisfy either.

What runs after you agree

PostHog, for page views and interaction counts, so we can tell which parts of this site are useful. Session recording is switched off — agreeing to analytics is not the same as agreeing to be filmed, and we do not treat it as though it were.

Where your choice is stored

In your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie. Storing the record of a decision about cookies inside a cookie is the kind of thing that ends up in a complaint.

What you send us

If you complete the questionnaire we keep your name, email, website and answers, so we can produce the diagnostic you asked for and send it to you. If you sign in with Google we keep your name, email and profile image. We do not sell any of it, and we do not send you commercial email you did not ask for.
